Stephen A. Chidyllo, MD is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon and the medical director of Central New Jersey Plastic Surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Chidyllo is a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia and instructs both residents and medical students in the art and techniques of plastic surgery. He has published numerous book chapters and publications in the field of plastic surgery as well as given multiple presentations both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Chidyllo specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the Face and Breasts and also performs Body Contouring procedures. Those facial procedures commonly performed in the practice are: face/neck lift (rhytidectomy), upper and lower eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), facial liposuction and chin augmentation (implants), BOTOX©, dermal fillers and facial fat grafting. Patients requesting breast surgery are a significant part of the plastic surgical practice. Procedures commonly performed are: breast reconstruction, breast augmentation (implants), breast reductions and lifts. Other surgical procedures performed are abdominoplasty (tummy tucks) and liposuction.
Dr. Chidyllo performs each patient consultation personally. The consultation is an exchange of information concerning the procedure that you desire, as well as to what you can expect from your cosmetic surgery. You will be introduced to his staff concerning scheduling your surgery date as well as scheduling your preoperative and postoperative office visits.

Dr. Chidyllo was born and raised in New York City, and is a graduate of the City University of New York at Queens College. He obtained his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Chidyllo completed his residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at The University of Illinois at Chicago and Cook County Hospitals. After his plastic surgical residency he completed additional fellowship training in the fields of facial and cosmetic surgery at the Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine in Norfolk Virginia.
Dr. Chidyllo is one of an elite group of Plastic Surgeons who have completed training in both medicine and dentistry. He received his dental degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Chidyllo was in private practice in the field of dentistry for five years prior to returning to medical school in Philadelphia. This extensive additional training gives him extensive knowledge and expertise in the fields of facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
